So most of you know by now already – but our beloved Big Brother will be starting on July 8th! Not only that, but it will go back to the Sunday – Wednesday – Thursday schedule.
Ew. I HATE that schedule! But whatcha gonna do, right? Here’s the official word:

The summer reality hit BIG BROTHER premieres Thursday, July 8 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The new cast will be announced at a later date.
As for Big Brother Craze and me – It pains me to admit that I’m just *not* gonna be able to run BBC for you guys this year. I won’t have the time or energy to work all day and spend all night in front of the computer for three months. Rest assured I’ll be around – likely popping in at Carolyn’s and BBdish, and you can always reach me via email if you’d like, but I simply don’t have the time needed to devote to keeping BBC up to the standards of the past four seasons. And I refuse to have it be lackluster. Ya’ll deserve better than that.
I’ll miss you all – but not too much, as I will be around. Now, bring on BB! 
Well, I’m gonna miss YOU. It won’t be the same. Do you know if Showtime will have BB after dark? Will you still have this site up and working? I have it on my toolbar for easy access.
i’m sad to see you leave. this site was always better than bbdish. you went into so much more detail than dish. but i guess all good things must come to a end. it was good while it lasted
Yes, there will be BBAD on ShowTime, and the site will remain up – but dunno about posting, etc. We’ll see how it goes.
I’ll still be around as much as I can be – just not sure on posting or how it’s gonna work. I still love BB with all my realitytvlovin heart – so I’ll be here… somewheres… on the internets…
I sure hope you stay around and post from time to time. I like the people who follow you. I have looked at Big Brother Network and bbdish but like you SOOOOOOOOOOO much better. It was like a nice little family with something in common. Oh well, feelin’ melancholoy:(

Dang! Was just getting ready for another fun summer with all the Crazies but I totally understand about real life taking priority. Crud.. now I have to find a new group to watch/complain about the show with when it’s the middle of the night and I’m watching the hampsters sleep like some kind of crazed stalker.
Tina, Jodda, Lessa, and all you guys… I’ll miss our chats during the shows. Hope I catch up with you someplace on line since you folks are the best. I still plan to stop in here just in case you want to post or chat.

Yes, we do have a garden. And the rain this season has made everything so green and beautiful here. I have cucumbers growing in hanging baskets. I’ve was told it would never work. The fruit would be too heavy and pull everything out of the basket. Not happening. They were wrong. I put heavy rocks on the top to weigh it down and it’s working. lol to you all. tinakeheley@windstream.net

Sadly I’ve been looking around for other BB sites for this summer and haven’t found a place I feel I fit yet. I’m kinda perched over at Jokers for now since I don’t like the whole idea of “If you can’t say something nice” that seems to be the rule at BBDish. My favorite part of early BB is taking apart the hamsters I dislike and it looks like they don’t care for that over at Dish… Am I wrong or do they really enforce that over there? Like not letting folks call Natalie “gnat”? I hate the idea of just bitching to the world at large on Facebook in blog form but it’s looking like my best option other than coming here to touch base.
Has ANYONE found a new home for the summer or am I stuck with Jokers and Facebook?

Polka, I don’t see anything wrong with the word “Gnat” I did notice on BBD, your comments are not posted until they have been approved. I don’t like that part. It will be hard to have a conversation with people if we all have to wait around to see if our comments past the test. Good to hear from Lessa saying “I’m still here. Look foward to your announcements. What is “Jokers” I found a place called Big Brother Network. A lot of people post there. I’ve been reading them but have not posted anything. They have a toolbar you can put on your computer. Comments are there to call up with just a click of the button. But I’m still following our leader when all is said and done:) I’ve got this site on my toolbar too and look here everyday
I read there are going to be 14 houseguests with 1 being a sabateur who will not be playing for the $500,000 is this true. I also heard the HGS have been sequestered and not all of them will make it onto the show. I thought once you were sequestered you made it onto the show.
Tina – yup! That’s what’s been going around since yesterday’s new commercial, as well as the TV guide that released some info early (ooooh they gonna be in troooouble! *L*)

OMG OMG OMG !!! I’m hyperventilating here… I’m gonna miss all the SuperLessa stuff! BTW, did no one miss me??? Sheesh! Okay, I totally understand that this just takes too much time, Lessa. It’s just that it was so damn s p e c t a c u l a r ! I tried to get into BBDish last season, but I just couldn’t. I read her stuff when you weren’t around, but the comments and commenters just weren’t the same.
