Hey!! Looking forward to this week and liking what Rachel’s been doing/saying with everyone. Should be cool.
About last night, I thought it was pretty funny. Just people celebrating their win
Ok, what’s up with BBDish? Why in the world would they forget that nominations are always later in the day. For some reason they seem convinced/really want them to be now. Of course it’s have/have not.
Weird.
Was not a big fan of what she did last night; really surpised she and Brendon were not hung over today. She really got a big case of the giggles too. Bet that drove Jodda bananas. I thought that laugh sounded more genuine. The laugh that annoys everyone seems forced; like she may be a bit uncomfortable or she does not know what to say so she laughs. lol
I’m fine with any laughs. Like I said, I could put up with Keesha, so I’m ok with anyone
I really liked Keesha. She and Reney got into trouble with their game when drinking one night and then had to go in the backyard and do a competition. I was concerned this might happen to R&B and I really want to see them go far in this game.
I got to where I didn’t mind the deranged dolphin giggle of Keesha. I really liked her. I even named a stuffed dolphin that my daughter gave me Keesha. Did I just type that out loud?
Yeah, Keesha didn’t hold her wine too well a couple of times. I forgot about that competition night and the wine before hand.
And, Renny and Keesha together? I loved, loved those two!!!!!!
I don’t mind the Rachel celebrating at all. Heck, I like to celebrate myself! And I love me some tequila.
I still think it was fake though. Very Awkward. Surely Brenden could tell. As soon as they left the HOH, she got a thousand times drunker. After only two shots??

I loved Keesha too, but that laugh…
And I didn’t think it was fake. They were just laying around in the HOH, get up and move around and you act wackier.
Another thing I remember about Keesha is the only thing she ate was crackers. She would never sit with the group and eat. Renny did all the cooking. I luved that season.

You know, after the season was over, in my geeky fan state, I was friends with her on myspace for a bit. I even corresponded with her about her candles she was selling. I’m a geek. I know.

banana rum? I’ve never tried that! I love Malibu Rum but never tried any of the other flavored rums. mmmmm.
I bet that would be good in a desert. Maybe a banana flambe, or bananas foster…. (my gosh, if I don’t get food off the brain!)

My favorite seasons were 6, 2, and 10… until I change my mind, which I do frequently
ACtually, my very first BB memory, was when my daughter was a newborn. My mom was watching BB feeds on the computer through AOL (season 1). They were free. And I kinda worried about her, that she was watching people on the computer like that.
If I only had known then what I know now. Now she worries about me! lol, not really, but she doesn’t watch the feeds.
Big Brother, oh how you have changed.

I did not know Season 1 was on the internet. Was it live on aol like the feeds now? I saw season 1 on Quirky Dude Have not seen season 2. I started watching season 3 when we moved up here from the coast. I remember getting hooked right off. My children were coming for a visit and they had to spend some of their time here watching the show with me. They still do not watch the show. My hubby likes it too. He does not watch the feeds and I cannot give anything away so He can watch the shows on tv and be surprised.
I know I am being long winded but this show is the reason I finally got a computer 3 summers ago. So I could get the feeds and see the action in the house. I came late to the party getting a computer and getting on board with BB. Better late than never.
Why do we have trivia? The have/have not comp is finished. Are they having nominations for the block?

It seems like when I’m at the computer, it’s bubbles. Either during POV, or one of the many, many random bubbles.
Since I seemingly like to complain, here is another complaing:
I wish they didn’t have the sequestered HG’s watch the previous season of BB before going into the house. I really get peeved when it’s apparent the HG’s are performing for their TV or live feed audience. I think some of the greatness of this show gets diluted every seaason as people are either imitating personalities or gameplay, or forming their gameplay on what they believe previous gameplays involved.
It kinda stunts originality.
And Rachel? I really don’t mind her, but she is the worst at these very things I complain.

And this whole,”so, what do you think you are going to get out of this?” referring to what a HG’s new career is going to entail after they get out of the house.
I guess there is no way to make it any different in this day of reality television popularity, but, what a difference it makes, to have virgin, untainted players, there to play the game, and not the career game.
I think I just need more sleep.

Busy. Crazy busy. Just got done driving my daughter to flute camp every day for 2 weeks. Tomorrow I drive her and her friend (who’s mother is working) to band camp to drop them off for a week. Then going to my mom’s to spend the night and go to the state fair on Monday. Then I’ll come back home on Tuesday and need to take advantage of a cooler week to get some major cleaning and organizing done around here.
And whoever mentioned Banana Rum really has me craving it now!
Jodda, I totally agree about the lack of originality and the fact that everyone wants to move to L.A. and be a star. Production just needs to ask some questions about whether they have any of those aspirations and then just weed those people out. I’m really sick of them only having the beautiful people on too. They all look the same and most are way too shallow. Even if Kathy is older, she still fits the mold. Boring! I like variety. It was fun watching dorky people like Chicken George. I loved free feeds. *sniff*

I like the BB house. Why are you ready for a new one, Tina? I just wish they’d give them more to do, so they wouldn’t be so damn boring. I think they should have a bunch of stuff at their disposal, like badminton, volleyball, croquet, horse shoes…
I agree completely! people like Chicken George make it more real. People like they pick in BBUK, yeah there are mostly the pretty people, but there are regular schmos too. People a wee bit more identifiable.
Sasssy! How long is her band camp? That is so awesome. The only band camps my husband and I went too (again, that sounds weird, we didn’t marry until 10 years out of high school… we weren’t married when we went to band camp, lol).
Anywho, when we went to band camp, it was only 10 days long. I wish it had been longer.
She will be so thankful now and years to come.

It was 108 here, before the heat index. This is riduculous. The tomatoes are “literally” melting off the plants.
Tonight at 7:30, it was a chilly 101 degrees.
I swear, I can hear my skin bubble when I make the mad dash from house to car.
My daughter is very talented.
And I’m not just one of those moms that thinks their kids are better than everyone else’s either. I’m extremely realistic. And I know absolutely nothing about music, so I base it on what others say and how she’s surpassing so many others that have played so much longer than her. I’d do anything for my girl, but I have no funds to support her doing anything. So I’m very grateful to her dad and my mom for helping in that department.
Yeah, our skin is bubbling too. We used to have a rooftop swamp cooler, but it quit about 3 years ago. My mom bought us a portable swamp cooler, but it only helps a little and only when you’re sitting right in front of it.
I know they change the decor every year, but I just want a different structure. They do have a lot of down time, and listening to the same conversations over and over can get boring.
It really sounds like Rachel wants to start a girls alliance. She is realy becoming wishy washy

I’m back. A swamp cooler is an evaporative cooler. Outside air blows through water soaked pads, so it’s semi-cool humid air blowing into the house. We don’t have humidity here, but it makes it feel like we do. It finally got down to 100 degrees at 8:00pm. I’m trying to do laundry, my daughter’s trying to pack, and we’re both sunburned from going out in my mom’s ski boat all day yesterday. Talk about miserable…

Also, Lessa, I notice you seem to be having trouble with the feeds over at Dish. I HIGHLY recommend http://bigbrotherlite.com/ Ever since I’ve gotten it I’ve had very few problems and when I did it was a glitch in their program and they fixed it pretty fast.
