For those of you that have the feed, you need to go to flashback to around 11am BB time and watch and listen to the convincing case Ragan makes for keeping him. Let’s just see what Lane does with all of the points Ragan makes.

Glad you have been able to get your freezer loaded up in your cooler weather. At 3:14 est it is 95.0 on my front porch. Tomorrow, it is suppose to reach 99. This morning was really nice. Temps in the upper 60′s for our morning walk. It was down right chilly.

Chilly is good! Today is supposed to be 90 now, but that’s still way better than in the 100s. Yeah, I’m really excited to have a bunch of precooked meals. I can’t remember the last time I did that.
I knew Lane wouldn’t go for Ragan’s idea, although it did make a lot of sense. It’s so sad that we’re almost to the end of the season and I still don’t really care who wins. I usually have definite ideas of one or more people I’d like to win and also who I definitely don’t want to win. This season was extra blah. Sad.

Right before I took a nap, Lane was having a long talk with Britney. It sounded like he wants to go with her to final 2 now. If that’s true, some of what Ragan was telling him sunk in.
I don’t have a favorite either. I’m just sitting back, not stressing, since I don’t have a favorite and waiting to see how it all plays out.
Jodda, that whole house looks like a train wreck. Gag me with a spoon. The thought of having to live in that pig stye makes me shudder.

When you described your turkey dinner. You described almost to a T (or is it tee?) my ideal meal, some of my most favoritest foods
You almost had my whole Thanksgiving dinner from last year. Minus the cornbread dressing and Cranberries (which reminds me, I want to send you a recipe for a really different cranberry recipe I tried and loved last year)
Last Thanksgiving I started making brussels sprouts; I roasted them. Since, it is one of my favorites. And last Thanksgiving I made Ina Garten’s cremed spinach. OMG!
Now, I just need a good corn casserole recipe. When we lived in Iowa, our neighbors made such a wonderful one. I have made several and really like them all. BUt I love to read and try other peoples’ as much as I can.
I really, really love fall cooking!
P.S. The snickers craving was because Ragan was eating one. We don’t have any here.

Tina, Hulu.com is a site where you can watch TV shows. It’s a great site. Yes, you have to watch a commercial, just like on TV. That’s their moneymaker.
Usually it’s the last couple of episodes of a show aired. But in this case they have all the episodes of that show Master Chef, that I meant to watch from the beginning.

Good choice, Jodda. Chicken Tarragon is to die for. Mini Sasssy doesn’t care for it because of the champagne flavor. I guess it’s more of an adult meal. Maybe I’ll make it when I’m at my mom’s. She has a/c.
Oh, and I could make it with zucchini and cheese sauce that my daughter doesn’t like either! She’ll be camping with her dad. I would’ve gone, but there’s gonna be a lot of drama that I just want no part of. Long story.

My spinach casserole has artichokes, water chestnuts, onion, sour cream and parmesean cheese in it. Real easy to make.
Don’t blame you for not going Sasssy. I run from drama. I like events to be non eventful. haha
Frozen hot chocolate is so easy. Fatten it up or lean it down: 1/2 cup fat free evaporated milk, 1/4 cup sugar free chocolate syrup, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 1/2 cups ice cubes. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until thick and smooth. Pour into a glass and put 2 tablespoons fat free cool whip on top. It is so delicious and satisfies that ice cream yearning

Sasssy, evaporated milk has a thicker richer quality. I don’t know why it would not work with your soy
milk. The consistancy may not be the same though. 
The only place I’ve been able to find sugar free chocolate syrup is at Walmart. It’s their house brand “Great Value”. Regular chocolate syrup has 18 grams of sugar compared to 0 grams in the sugar free.
I have finally finished voting in AGT. It’s almost midnight in the north Georgia mountains and 5am is just 5 hours away so I’m turning in for the night. Yall have a good rest tomorrow and will see you Wednesday.
Ummm… I don’t do soy milk. We just buy regular fat free (skim) milk. I guess I’ll try it with the skim milk and see how it is. It sounds good anyway. I’ve made blended iced mochas which are along the same idea. I’m gonna turn in early tonight too. See you guys tomorrow!
My husband comes from a family that used evap skim milk for coffee and milk rice (his mom is German). I think the evap fat free milk is a much richer flavor in stuff like that.
but doesn’t mean I haven’t used reg milk in a bind.
I get the Hershey’s lite choc syrup for choc milk. It has almost no sugar. There is another brand from a local store too.

Thanks you guys. I know it’s not my dog, but I knew him for 12 years, and he died of the exact same thing that Sammy (my dog that died 2 years ago). A cancer on the spleen that went undiagnosed, which led to a rupture of the spleen. Combination of memories of the day I lost Sammy, and my friend’s dog.
It’s amazing how much animals can impact humans.

I always hear about DiGiorno pizza in the BB house. NOw Ragan is going on about it again, saying it’s even better than delivery. I looked at the pizza section the other day, but they were all like thick crust. Do you all have a DiGiorno recommendation?

speaking of frozen pizza. I have a new favorite. omgosh, I mean dangerously good. I’ve only seen at Costco. Palermo. I can’t make them though, because we eat way too much of it. It’s incredible.

Jodda, we had a DiGiorno a few weeks ago. It was good. I had a coupon for it but don’t remember about the crust. I just remember it was better than Red Baron. Never heard of Palermo. We go to BJ’s. Pizza is my favorite over anything exotic. Give me a choice of lobster or pizza and I will take the pizza. When we have pizza it’s usually out somewhere. Most of the time I don’t have room in my freezer for one. Me too, I could go on and on about pizza.

I’m so bummed. The BB vids of previous season on youtube are gone. Quirkydude’s account was suspended (reading on jokers, suspended account due to idiots flagging his videos).
I love being able to watch all of the old seasons whenever. Especially when insomnia hits. This stinks. Hardcore.
I can’t imagine how much work he put into uploading ALL of those videos, for them to be poof gone, too.
CBS really needs to put previous seasons on DVD.
Wow, I bet he’s not happy… But I’m sure he knew the risk involved. I’ve never gone back and watched previous seasons. In fact the only shows I’ve ever watched on DVD are shows that are on channels I don’t get. I only have limited basic cable, so I get very few channels. We live between 2 markets, so I get 2 of each network plus Discovery and CW. I’ve watched the first 2 seasons of Californication on DVD. I like that show. I wonder when the 3rd season will come out.

That year the show was Sun/Tues/Wed. And they did the first part of the HOH comp like Mon or Tues, and the show on Tues was recorded, thus the feeds were out and we didn’t get to see any of the competition on the feeds.
I just remember an endurance that came on late one year towards the final. Thought it was because of a west coast viewer thing

Hey Sasssy. About Ragan’s trashy mind which comes out in his words. I can’t repeat what he has said. It’s just stuff you would not want mini Sassy hearing much less yourself. lol
Oh, I’ve read all that they’ve transcribed at BBDish, so I’m aware. Mini Sassy doesn’t read this stuff. The poor girl is so busy, she doesn’t have time for anything but school, homework, playing in 3 bands, and occasionally hanging out with friends.
Mini Sassy, is Sooooooo fortunate to be exposed to so much good in her life thanks to Sasssy, I Bet,

Well, I drive her around, but it’s her choice. And actually she’s exposed ME to it. When I first worked at the radio station, I had no idea how to pronouce any of the classical composers! She liked classical music before I did. Actually all of my kids did. lol. It’s growing on me now.

BTW folks, talk about hot; it got up to 102 dgrees in town today and 97.3 on our porch. This is just not normal for North Georgia mountains. I feel so drained, even with a/c. Thank goodness Sasssy, you have not had this kind of summer and having no a/c at all.
Oh it was HOT today. Over 100. I’m not sure how hot. But this morning I heard on the news that we’ve only had EIGHT days in the triple digits this summer. That is just unheard of here. I’m so very grateful. I was working on organizing my craft room today, so I was ridiculously hot and miserable. That room (and my bedroom) get the hot afternoon sun.
Sasssy, he was talking to Enzo and encouraging him to do well in comps so they could go to final 2 togehter in his Hayden kinds of persuavisive way. lol

Oh , you poor girl. I don’t know how you stand it. I don’t think I would have any sense to organize anything in that kind of heat. Do you have fans or shade trees to get under?
I have a big box fan in every room in my house. And by the way, they cost as much to run as my big old swamp cooler on top of my house did. When we moved in we had 2 fairly big pine trees in the front, but both got diseased and had to be cut down. The birds have kindly planted 7 trees in front, but they’re all still fairly small. I had a ceiling fan/light combo in the dining room, my bedroom, and my daughter’s room (back when it was my son’s room). My ex took the one in the kids’ room down with the thought he was gonna put up a new one. He never did. The other 2 have both quit. I do have a portable swamp cooler, but it doesn’t help much unless you’re sitting directly in front of it not doing anything.
If I were in your situation I would be in the “not doing anything ” mode most of the time; Extreme heat and cold and I don’t get along at all. Thank goodness for your fans. Hope it cools down at night for you. I think in Calif. it does most of the time. I would probably be camped out in front of the portabe swamp cooler. lol
It’s after midnight here and I’m sleepy.

On the coast here it gets cool at night, but I live in the valley at the base of the foothills. It cools off some, but when it’s triple digits it’s still hot at night. I chose to be a working mom, because I’m not a very good stay-at-home mom. But then I got a chronic illness and had to retire. I am definitely in “not do anything” mode most of the time. lol. The problem is my house shows it. So I’m trying to be better and keep working on something every day. I’m definitely the turtle (not the hare), and I’m hoping one of these days I’ll win the race!
