But don’t worry – the comments here will ALWAYS be open! I’m counting on YOU guys to keep me up to date while I’m slaving away at ze Walmarts! Which is where I must dash off to now.

As for Big Brother Craze and me – It pains me to admit that I’m just *not* gonna be able to run BBC for you guys this year. I won’t have the time or energy to work all day and spend all night in front of the computer for three months. Rest assured I’ll be around – likely popping in at Carolyn’s and BBdish, and you can always reach me via email if you’d like, but I simply don’t have the time needed to devote to keeping BBC up to the standards of the past four seasons. And I refuse to have it be lackluster. Ya’ll deserve better than that.
I’ll miss you all – but not too much, as I will be around. Now, bring on BB!

Now, here’s the skinny on me and Big Brother Craze – the official word:
I don’t know.
You see, I had to go and get myself a JOB. One that pays all year round, and that means I won’t be sitting on my (considerable) ass in front of the computer 24-7 for the first time since BB8. What does this mean for Big Brother Craze? I’m not sure. I know that I love Big Brother with every reality tv loving fiber of my being, and hope to at least be blogging during my off hours, but the job and family is a priority for us right now, to ensure we survive on through the summer and into the winter. Sometimes things just have to give.
So – at this point, I’m tossing about ideas, but I’m unsure how exactly things will work out for this season. I love being your other go-to source, along with our favorite Carolyn at BBDish, and hope to continue to be involved in the community in some way – I’m just not sure how yet.
But rest assured I’m working on it, and hoping for a solution. Bear with me till then – and hey, go try out already, will ya?
No, not Big Brother, but something that’s just as cool for us Big Brother Fans! Tonight’s the premiere of The Amazing Race – with none other than Winner of BB11, Jordan, and Jeff – America’s Favorite!
They’ll be taking on ten other teams in a race around the world – here’s hoping they go deep into the game!
Good Luck Jeff and Jordan! We’ll be watching!
~~~~~~~
*LOL* Classic Jeff and Jordan:
Jordan: Where we goin?
Jeff: Chili
Jordan: China?!
At the airport
Everyone: tickets to Chili!
Jordan: we need tickets to China!
Check it out! TV Moe just announced the following:
The network has decided to double the show’s Tuesday, Sept. 15 season finale, expanding it from one hour to two, insiders close to the production confirm. The grande-sized “Brother” will air live from 9-11 p.m., with Julie Chen set to host.
Look for the two-hour “Brother” to mix all the traditional elements of the final show — specifically, the crowning of a winner– with an extended reunion segment featuring return appearances by ejected houseguests. There will, of course, be a studio audience.
YAY! The ratings are up a giant 5% – unheard of for a show in it’s 11th season! Thank you AGP!
….Now fix the feed issues before the next endurance. kaitnx!
Holy cow! Just got a text message from Carolyn saying I was back up (she gets up earlier than me. ) and lo and behold, we ARE! WHOOOO! i missed you guys!
I’ll import the entries I did at Reality Daze, and then we’ll be rocking and a rollin this morning!
I woke up to some interesting – and happy! – news this morning! On the Early Show, Julie Chen, our beloved Chenbot, had some good news to share: She’s pregnant!
I know! The preseason reboot must have been a doosey!
Ms. Chen told the viewers this morning that she’s pregnant with her first child, and couldn’t be happier. She rubbed her tummy and said that no, it wasn’t a big Sunday at the buffet table, she’s simply starting to show. Her due date is October 4th, and she made sure to let us know that she is not taking maternity leave beforehand, she still plans on hosting Big Brother this summer! She emailed Allison Grodner over the weekend to say “Don’t worry! I can still do the show!”
She even joked that the headlines could read “Big Brother gives Birth – Medical Miracle!”
All kidding aside, all of us at Big Brother Craze send our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Chen and her husband, Les Moonves (CBS President and CEO). May your pregnancy progress smoothly and you and the baby remain healthy and happy throughout!
Are you anywhere near Michigan? That’s where the first casting call is slated to be! Check it out:
WLNS TV-6, Lansing, Michigan’s CBS affiliate and market news leader, announces that it will be hosting Michigan’s only open casting calls for Big Brother 11.
Think you’ve got what it takes to live in the Big Brother house and win a half million dollars? Apply now to be on BIG BROTHER 11. Big Brother 11 Open Casting Call is Wednesday, April 1st from 5 to 8PM at Eastwood Towne Center, 3003 Preyde Boulevard, Lansing, MI 48912.
Applicants who are interested in trying to be a contestant on Big Brother 11 must be present at the Open Casting Call to be eligible. Eligibility requirements and applications are available at wlns.com. Applicants can bring their own tape to the casting call or have WLNS record one for them at the event. Specific requirements are clearly stated on the application. All applicants who choose to have WLNS record their segment, can purchase a DVD copy for $18 per copy. WLNS will deliver all applicant’s tapes and applications to CBS c/o Allison Grodner Productions in the specified format. All applicants must completely fill out the application and must sign the tape log at the event.
Think you might want to show up to watch? Eastwood Towne Center will give away a $250.00 shopping spree to some lucky spectator.
“We are excited to bring this event to Lansing” said Julie Tadgerson, the local CBS Station official. “There are only a few places in the country hosting local casting calls. Lansing currently is the only place in Michigan. We have been receiving phone calls and emails from all over the country regarding the event and that’s pretty exciting, considering we have not run a single promotional announcement yet. Somehow the word is getting out that WLNS in Lansing is hosting this casting call. For me personally, if I were eligible (and I am not) to try out for one of those shows it would be the Big Brother! It would the experience of a lifetime to win a half of a million dollars! That would be awesome. Plus, how often do spectators get to win a $250 shopping spree from a cool mall like Eastwood Towne Center?”
Sounds like fun! Wonder if Dan’ll be there… and the biggest question – will YOU be there? If so, be sure to let us know how it goes!
ETA: Big Brother Network reports an earlier casting in the LA area – though I don’t have any other info on it – here it is: California – March 28, 2009 in Los Angeles, California
Man – I can’t wait till the next season! It kills me to see only a couple posts here and there! I do hope that all of you had a happy and healthy Christmas, with plenty of presents and pie! Here at Casa de Lessa, we certainly did, despite my getting the tummy flu for Christmas. Inorite?! Ew.
FYI, Just so ya’ll know… Everyone is welcome here, no matter what place you hang your hat and call home! I don’t expect that I’m your one and only Big Brother source (though I’m ever glad for those who have found me and keep coming back for my ‘special’ brand of snarkitude! You are all rock stars in my book!) – there’s a lot of differing opinions on the interwebs when it comes to us rabid Big Brother Fans, and everyone finds a place where they belong – then lurk on half a dozen other sites too. At least, that’s what _I_ do, and I’d expect that you do the same. So – everyone is welcome here! All places fans of all peoples, as long as mutual respect reigns supreme.
Now, to the REAL question – will there be another strike (SAG this time) and if so, will there be another winter Big Brother? Right now, all signs point to no, but we’re still scouring sites for any and all information that will let us know for sure. The latest speculation says that there are plenty of episodes of many of the prime time shows already in the can, since they started filming earlier after the writer’s strike last year – that means they already have episodes done through the spring, so the earliest Big Brother would have to come in to fill some slots in mid-June, which isn’t really very likely. But hey, stay tuned – as soon as I know, you’ll know!
Hey - all this drivel I spout out about here? It's mine. I wrote it, designed it, slapped it together, except stuff otherwise noted and cited. This includes (but is not limited too) terms (BBCrazies, RealityDazies) and interviews - and Guest Posts and Comments become the exclusive property of Big Brother Craze and it's owner.
That means it's mine - not yours. So play nice, be a good sport, and keep your grubby mitts off - this is my stuff, get your own!
