They’ll go right here as they come in!
First up – Jeff!
Here’s Ross’s first set of interviews at last! Whoo!
Here’s Mark’s (Reality Wanted) take on the houseguests, and Jen of BB8 did a write up for MSN here!
And – brand new commercials! Enjoy!
This just in! Associated Press just posted an article on Google, about the houseguests. Much of it are things we know already – but here’s the scoop on that Locked Room:
“This season, the California-themed “Big Brother” dwelling will go green with several eco-friendly touches including organic soap in the bathroom, energy-producing exercise bikes in the gym and composting bins in the backyard. Executive producer Allison Grodner teased that one of the three bedrooms, a jungle-themed enclave, will feature a nasty surprise.
“It is a room that will test their resolve,” Grodner said during a recent tour of the newest “Big Brother” house. “I will go out on a limb and say that it is the worst room to sleep in any `Big Brother.’ After 11 seasons, that’s saying a lot. This is a special treat for the houseguests. Each week, one group of houseguests will end up in this room.””
And you all thought the Pool Room would be bad!
UPDATE! Julie Chen (AND OMG BABYBOT BABYBUMP!) has her house tour up with the first glimpse of the “jungle room” which doesn’t look very jungle-y, but DOES look uncomfortable as hell, AND the Right hand shower has NO HOT WATER.
If your banished to the locked room, you’re also banished to using only the cold shower! BRRR!
And yay! someone put it up on youtube!

Confirmation – WLBB has just gotten off the phone with Allison – NOT jungle Themed, but as Julie shows it – beds of steel, etc. Ouch!
UPDATE: Here’s the interview with WLBB that they just finished!
The highlights:
Four groups of three
Not like season 9 soulmates where BB forced them together
This is still an individual game
Big Brother created a system where you want to be in the ‘in-crowd’
Each player wants the perks of being in the in-crowd
If one member of a clique wins Head of Household, other members of that clique cannot be nominated
Allison did not say a room had a ‘jungle theme’
Third bedroom is ‘one of the worst rooms in Big Brother history’
Instead of traditional Food Competitions, there are now ‘Have and Have Not’ competitions
Losers of the Have and Have Not competition are subject to worst living conditions in BB history
Have Nots subject to a cold room, cold showers, food restrictions, and bright lights that never turn off
No details regarding the 13th Mysterious Houseguest will be released until July 9th
Starting second week, viewers will decide the food restriction
The Have Nots will get slop in addition to America’s food restriction
The exercise bikes and lightbulbs might come into play later this summer
Here’s the houseguest reveal on the Early Show this morning with Julie Chen!
More as it comes through!
Be sure to check out all the Bios right here – including a video of Chima on the job…
Courtesy of WeLoveBigBrother.com!:
- Everyone can relate to the twist
- The cliques will be Populars, Athletes, Brainiacs and OffBeats
- 12 strangers will be ‘kickin it old school’
- They will play the game and compete in one of the cliques.
- A 13th Mystery Houseguest will join the game and give one clique an advantage.
- The houseguests will be made aware of how much waste they create, and be requireed to “sort, recycle and place all food items in an outdoor manual compost center”
They’ll be interviewing Alison later today – so more on that when it happens – and here’s the video from CBS!
Aw yeah, baby! Now we KNOW it’s getting close! Today various journalists and bloggers spend the day INSIDE THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE! Lucky bastards. The only one I know for sure yet is Ben over at B-side Blog – little did we know when he tweeted that he was going off the grid for the day in 3…2…1.. he meant INSIDE THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE! I am so 100% jealous! He tweeted his release from the 12 hour sequester just a few moments after CBS tweeted the day had finished, and they would allow the journalists to release details on their own…
Don’t worry – I’m all about stalking him until he posts! It’s just one of the little things I do for all you Big Brother Crazies!
While we’re waiting for the stories to start pouring in, take a gander at this! Alison Grodner gave a radio interview this morning with John, Jay and Rich and Peaches has all the goods on it over at BB-411. Alison gave us a few details to ponder over and pick apart and OMGYAY somewhere around 4 minutes into the interview! Check it:
“Everyone is in. We’ve got a cast, we’ve got the twist, the new house. It’s exciting!”
“I can tell you that this season is different. The twist this season is unique, as always. It is incredibly relatable. I think everyone will be able to identify with this twist. That is all I can tell you. There’s also something else happening on premiere night that’s unprecedented that will be alot of fun. You’re going to hear more and more about this as we approach the premiere date.”
“The house is gorgeous. It’s a modern house this season, and we’re going green. Eco-friendly.”
And Alison joked about Julie hosting through the pregnancy, and joked that the baby would be the FOURTEENTH CONTESTANT – do we consider that a confirmed 13 houseguests for the season? DO WE? I think we MIGHT be able too!
Back to Press Day:
– who dresses up in costume on Craig Furgeson’s show? He was there too.
– Someone named Carrie on that interview was also in the house…
THIS JUST IN: No details will be released until JUNE 29TH!
Which means, of course, that while we’re chomping at the bit, that means that we have a definite day that the actual cast will be preparing to enter the house, completely sequestered! We can expect them to move in by July 2nd most likely, with the premiere on the 9th.
WHOOO!
Also – if you’re lucky enough to be in LA during the season, and want tickets to the Live Eviction show? It’ll be a Live audience again this year and you can get your tickets by clicking here! And after you go – be sure to come back here and give us all the details!
As always – as soon as I know? You’ll know! In the meantime, hit up the forums and sign up for our pool party!
UPDATE! Here’s the participants in Press Day as we figure it out:
1. Ben @ B-Side Blog (will be posting on the 29th.)
2. Jen Johnson of BB8 fame, for MSN
3. Dennis Luciani from Average Joe
4. Carrie Ann Moten from JohnJay&Rich
5. Katie Neal from WLBB
Rumored:

“The guy who dresses in costumes” from Craig Furgeson
I’ll update as I find out more!
Good morning all – I’m still trying to catch up from this morning (and still trying to wake up too. heh.) but I got here just in time to hear the grand plan – so! It’s after the cut…
OK, so I got a little sick of Ollie on his high horse, and the bash Keesha session we’ve been forced to listen too all day. SO! I made a lil somethin somethin…. gotta use that fancy degree of mine for something, right?
Enjoy!

Hooooboy. Current happenings under the cut!
Oh, oh OH! There have been rumblings, you see, and the fights and so on, and so forth – but now? NOW….
Here’s hoping that things continue to work out – it’s still a long way until Thursday. Just make sure, America, that we don’t mess this up for Dan! All the ins and outs after the cut!
Big Brother gave the houseguests a rest this morning – literally – by letting them sleep in until a couple started showing signs of life around noon. Then it was wake up fishies, and movement – slow and sure – by the houseguests.
The funniest thing going on is all the speculation about Dan being America’s player. They’re giving him non-stop hell about it, and HAVE BEEN since BEFORE the AP twist was brought into the game. Now, they’re trying to avoid all the confrontations, and speculate about twists and how the many weird things Dan does proves he is AP. Dan plays along, jokes along, and tells them to keep it up because it amuses him. And so they do, and so we listen, and everyone is amused.
But especially us, as we picked the perfect guy to pull it off. He’s really rather quick on his feet, our boy Dan!
And hey – I still can’t see the front page of the site. I can’t get to the comments to run the end of the contest either, so sorry, but it’s on hold until I’m back online, clearly. I hear rumors of a sitemeter problem, but it’s only supposed to affect IE, and I use Firefox, so… I dunno. (Nope, I broke it. Hahah) I’ll run the end of the contest as soon as we’re back up and running solid again, guys. Sorry for the delay!
Some vaguely spoilerish things after the cut!
After the blow up tonight, while everyone was still simmering, the feeds went to fish just after midnight at 12:18am, then to Trivia a few minutes later at 12:34am.
It’s AWN like DONKEY KONG, ya’ll. All the goodies after the cut!
